Meet Jenn Weber, a CASA board member, who brings passion, grit, and over a decade of dedication to improving lives. Outside of CASA, Jenn’s enjoys camping in the mountains, attending outdoor music concerts, and has fond memories of spending a summer in Yellowstone Park after college. Jenn values time with her friends and family, including her nieces and nephews, and is a fervent animal lover —her newest rescue dog is named Burrito.

Professionally, Jenn has worked at Child and Family Services for over 10 years, where she has played a significant role in initiating and developing specialized courts for Native American children, including the Indian Child Welfare (ICWA) court and ICWA recovery court. As a CPS supervisor, she collaborates closely with the CASA team and takes pride in celebrating their successes and organizational growth. Jenn finds it incredibly fulfilling to serve on the CASA board, and appreciates the professionalism and dedication of the staff and volunteer Advocates, and the positive impact CASA has on the child welfare system.

Her advice to new Advocates or potential board members is simple: ”Supporting CASA is a decision you won’t regret. If you have the capacity to be a CASA volunteer, we need you, If you have the time and experience to serve as a CASA board member, we need you. If you have the means to support CASA financially, we need you. If you have the connections to sponsor CASA fundraisers, we need you. If you have a voice and willingness to share who CASA is with your friends, family, and community, we need you! If you become part of the bigger CASA community, you will hear hard stories, gut wrenching experiences for children and families, but you’ll also have numerous opportunities to celebrate successes, identify wins, and connect with the most vulnerable part of the community. “
