DESCRIPTION:Training is for Active Advocates Only – If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer Advocate\, please attend one of our information sessions or by emailing carrie@yellowstonecasa.org. \nWe are honored to have Jennifer Smith\, an enrolled member of the Eastern Band Cherokee on her paternal side and a descendant of the Turtle Mountain Band Chippewa on her maternal side\, join us. As the former Director of Indian Education For All for Billings Public Schools and the current Program Coordinator for CASA of Yellowstone County\, Jennifer will provide invaluable insights into the nuances of working with Native children and their families.
