4/15/13: YCASA’s Pat Bellinghausen is MT CASA Volunteer of the Year

Pat BellinghausenCongratulations to YCASA’s Pat Bellinghausen, who in April 2013 was named Montana’s CASA Volunteer of the Year.

Pat joined Yellowstone CASA in 2010, and has served thirteen children in two-and-a-half years.

Pat’s most recent case saw her help five siblings, aged 2 to 11, become reunited with their father after years of neglect from their mentally ill mother. Pat was instrumental in helping the children enroll in school for the first time in their lives, and also in helping these five children and their father learn how to function as a family.
