Noelle Gaudreau is committed to making a positive impact in her community, both as an elementary teacher and as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). Her story exemplifies her passion for helping children.
As an elementary teacher, Noelle understands firsthand the challenges children face in the community. Her role as a teacher has prepared her well for her work as a CASA volunteer, where she supports children navigating the complexities of the foster care system. Noelle became a CASA to help children have the chance of a happy childhood, free from adult responsibilities and worries.
Noelle’s current case involves a ten-year-old girl who has incredible resiliency and a passion for art. She loves painting, coloring, and reading. Noelle has built a strong relationship with her and her family over the last year. The case will soon end in guardianship and Noelle will continue to provide stability and advocacy for her CASA child along the way.
Noelle’s advice for new Advocates is to “find wins, no matter how small. This helps you stay hopeful and motivated amidst challenges.” Through her roles as a teacher and CASA volunteer, Noelle not only impacts her students but also makes a meaningful difference in the lives of children in foster care, embodying perseverance and stability as a caring adult in their lives.
In her free time, Noelle loves spending time outdoors in Montana, particularly hunting during the fall and golfing in the summer. Family is central to her life, and she values spending time with her large, supportive family, which includes five siblings, three of whom are also CASA volunteers in the Billings community.
Through volunteering her time and energy, Noelle provides crucial support and guidance to children facing challenging circumstances, ensuring they have a voice and a caring adult to rely on during difficult times. Thank you for your service, Noelle!
